The current Excalidraw looks advanced compared to your own. And the whiteboard is saved at the level of the web browser. I tested ExcaliHub and i don't have seen the possibility to have many whiteboards.

The initial work was a prototype, we are currently working on the usage of text service for windows, and IBUS for Linux (mainly Wayland environment). But the next release, will take a time, since we are not familiar with these technologies.
