In photography (and probably art in general), there's a composition "rule" to frame moving subjects from left to right. So the direction may not be that interesting!

This is probably because the economist who first looked into relationship between the yield curve and recessions used 10y-3m [0]. His reasoning is that the 3m gives a better outlook of the conditions happening at the moment than the 2y. [0]

AFAIK, Uniqlo only hems, and the jeans probably don't fit in other ways (e.g. thighs, calves). I would, however, love to be wrong.
