In todays market I think there is a lot more consideration to speed of delivery over price. Dell has historically been NVIDIAs #1 OEM partner so it would not surprise me if Dell has supply chain advantages over other server vendors.

It's hard to compare apples to apples here because AWS leverages infrastructure Amazon already had to keep around for seasonal surges to its core business. I do not believe that Google has excess capacity for seasonal demand.

The point being made is that the processors that they will package with more memory are going to exist on larger dies. When you increase die size you decrease yield so you need to have a mature process.
