hey, this is exactly same as my notes setup too! For neovim markdown plugins my recommendations are SidOfc/mkdx and dbridges/vim-markdown-runner.

personally i've got a logitech mx master mouse, it has the logitech hyperscroll technology. Quite wonderfull to use on linux.

I used to have three ~25" 1080p monitors side by side, but now switched to two monitors stacked vertically (1440p + 1080p). I think vertical stacking is probably better for my neck, also takes up less desk space.

I'm running opensuse tumbleweed past couple years on my laptop & desktop, with btrfs as root FS. No issues. I also run btrfsmaintenance script every month, maybe that helps.

there is this package (unmaintained but still kind of working) https://github.com/jceb/vim-orgmode I tried spacemacs, but its just too unfamiliar & seems slow.
