I moved my GoDaddy domains to namespro.ca who have excellent support. The transfer went smooth as butter.

Twitter is easy to mock, but I suggest you compile a list of your favorite thought leaders on twitter, then have the list emailed to you via a service like tweetymail. Then you'll start to get a glimpse of how potent twitter can be.

I've been a KDE user forever. It IS a good GUI, but the knock on it has always been it's too much like Microsoft Windows. My fave distro is Kubuntu and I highly recommend it.
