Having run a music site for 7 years or so I am not surprised. We started before Soundcloud and created a very engaged community for musicians that many paid for. However I never understood how Soundcloud could justify raising so much money

It works pretty well on Android too. We tested both on iPhone and a few androids (lower end/higher end). It might work on other phones too but we did not test it out.

We have been using Swiftype at SupportBee for searching the help docs - https://supportbee.com/helps . We still use ES for core application search (tickets etc) but for things like help documentation, site search etc it's hard to beat Swif

We just rolled out our developer platform (beta). It is based on the same ideas that power Github Services. You can write small (but powerful) apps and push the code to us. We take care of hosting, authentication, rendering/saving forms etc
