It's unlikely that it will hit someone, but it can, so you don't do it. Remember rule 4: know your target and what's beyond it. You don't pull the trigger unless you know where each projectile will come to rest.

You can be detained without being under arrest. When you get pulled over for a traffic stop, you aren't under arrest, but you are being detained.

More relevant--before he did statistical analysis of elections, he was a leading figure in sabermetrics, the statistical analysis of baseball. His program is still one of the best.

When my iPhone 3G's screen broke, the bottom part of the LCD broke--just enough to cover the keyboard. I was abroad, so for the month until I got home, I learned to touch type on my iPhone.
