What an interesting read. I have a friend who is just like Vivian. I'm sure that in an alternative universe their wasted talents of observational wit and caustic retorts would have made them a world class comic playwright. "Here h

I've been playing different styles and genres of video games ever since Wolfenstein 3D and I consider myself pretty adept at playing them. However, Rocket League is one game that I just can't master. I've tried, really really

I thought I'd share a side project I've been work on recently. I've always struggled with procrastination. The final straw came last year when I forgot to book an MOT for my campervan, resulting in a cancelled weekend away, g

Brave is great. I disabled all the web3 stuff and tidied up the homepage so it doesn't show me all the news etc. The only issue I have is that the sync between my iphone, macbook, windows can sometimes get out of sync.

I use Authy. I've read a few comments about how migrating away is difficult. What do you use instead? I also use bitwarden, but not sure how I feel about passwords and totp being in the same app.

Interesting take on split screen! In the demo, when the screen splits at about 4 seconds, I felt a bit nauseous, almost like a very light seasickness.

I can't see this ending well for X. Forcing all users to pay for access seems a pretty heavy handed way of dealing with bots.

My goodness, that accordion needs to removed from their code base immediately. A horrific piece of UI/UX/engineering/whatever.

Agreed. My day job is in fintech. Our average customer age is > 60. Explaining 2fa via SMS to that age group is hard enough. Adding authenticators or QR codes into the mix would blow their frail minds.

Perhaps look into Simon Wardley's idea of town planners, settlers, and pioneers? https://wardleypedia.org/mediawiki/index.php/Pioneers_settle... Guide them into one of those roles?

My side business is making handmade/handstitched leather belts, wallets etc. These keyfob holders look like the sort of thing I'd make and sell... probably for the same £ cost as the Apple branded, mass-produced alternatives.

One thing that irks me about sites for remote work is that they don't distinguish between countries. A lot of employers will be remote, but only within their own country. I want to filter out remote jobs that won't accept candidat
