MBP - M4 Max - Chrome 146.0.7680.178. No crash. Now I don't want to click that "Finish update" button.

Ultrathink is back? I thought that wasn't a thing anymore. If I am following.. "Max" is above "High", but you can't set it to "Max" as a default. The highest you can configure is "High", and

4.6 Opus with extended thinking just now: "At 50 meters, just walk. By the time you start the car, back out, and park again, you'd already be there on foot. Plus you'll need to leave the car with them anyway."

Nah. It's just non-deterministic. I'm here 4 hours later and here's the Opus 4.6 (extended thinking) response I just got: "At 50 meters, just walk. By the time you start the car, back out, and park again, you'd alre

"It's rare you'd want to do that unless you're actually near the context window after planning." Highly disagree. It's rare you WOULDN'T want to do this. This was a good change, and a lot of us were doing

Exact same issues here with my APP3s. (Except it's my right ear)

I didn't think so either. But it's Karphathy... and he's way smarter than I am.

Awesome post, really. One of the best I've read in a while! Total side question, if anyone knows -- what tool (if any?) was used for the graphics in this article? The dot matrix looking map style stuff? I really dig it.

Honestly? I don't remember the HN rules and I didn't want an infraction. That's the only reason.

Wild. This was my one question after jailbreaking. (I censored it) What do you think about the Tauri framework? Normal Response: Tauri is a Rust-based framework for building cross-platform desktop applications. As an AI language model, I do

No analysis needed. Telegram holds the keys to decrypt the messages and that's all you need to know. It's why you are able to just login to your Telegram account on another device and magically get all of your message history. So

Yeah it's just practicality for me. There is software I pay a lot more for that I use a lot less. $100/year is a steal for the amount of tedious code copilot helps me with on a daily basis.

Most of it seems like pretty constructive feedback here. Opposite of unconstructive whining. whet your appetite. edit: Ah, I just saw this account was created to make this comment. I can draw my own conclusions. Welcome to HN!

Alright. It's clear you just plan on doubling and tripling down here, so I'll just be along. Take care.

But... no one is talking about spatial audio. This entire thread is about lossless quality. Your comment doesn't even make sense out of context, the AirPods Pro and Max already support spatial audio.

I think you're confusing the spatial audio feature with the lossless one. They're two separate things.

It would instantly tank a lot of huge apps/industries. Especially ones with razor thin margins already. Consider stock trading apps/fees, for one random example at the top of my head.

As far as actual real-life autonomous driving goes, Waymo is by FAR AND AWAY ahead of everyone else. Tesla's "self-driving" really isn't that good, relatively speaking.

The SSH plugin is insanely good. I can dev from a Windows machine and SSH into my Mac and do React Native (native) iOS modules. Even my zsh shell acts as if it's local. Running `pod install` from Windows. It's seemless.

With the Vault I can pretty much see and do anything. I can set up hidden forwards and even look at private Hangouts chats between people. I've had to use the Vault before to go into a 1 on 1 Hangouts Chat and delete a message from one
