I'm not sure I agree, for many reasons. 1 - a lot of grads have loans to pay off, and that $100k/yr job sure helps get it done quickly so you can focus on anything you want without that on your back. 2 - That $100k/yr job can help you meet

Most if not all TSA officers are not sworn officers, I believe. If you notice at airport security checkpoints, no TSA agents have weapons, a few actual police officers stationed there do.

Having worked at venues I can tell you that the person that did this job was likely "local crew" and someone who was probably thrilled to be doing ANYTHING for the band, MM's related or not.

In the US at least, there are many opportunities for paid internships. All the major tech companies offer them - Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Facebook, Zynga, Boeing, Lockheed, etc - and many of the smaller ones do (though in smaller numbers).
