Very nice site (diarytail.com), by the way. Unfortunately nutritionix has only basic nutritional data as well, the sort of thing you find on a product label. Not bad but not great. Have a look at their sample data. Plus it's around 10

I really like your suggestion. I think I will implement it. The end goal is to get enough people interested and using the site, then introduce premium features based on the feedback they give.
