I honestly don't believe the foldable tech is there. Most I've seen from Samsung, Motorola, etc. are so, so very fragile they don't last the year. I've been burnt and everyone I know has too, I wouldn't have a folda

It took me a long time to grok what htmx even was from barely glancing at news articles about it every once in a while. If I'd seen such a concise text explanation I'm sure I'd have got it immediately! Lesson learned: go to L

I'm not sure about that example. I'm seeing non tech people getting very addicted to their customized chat bots. Companies are very primed to eventually nudge them to enshittify the content of the responses and it could get bad.

That's reassuring, it's exactly how I've always done LLM. It's fine, as long as the gist of what you mean is there you can be real lazy when typing. And I've always been on the cheapest of plans.

The login page is a very nice reminder to not use Reddit. I have the old reddit redirect extension so this change was the push I needed after the latest very clearly botted hate campaign took over the site recently. Dead internet theory is

Has a anyone run this on Fedora or similar yet? From the readme it sounds like it could work but I've been surprised before and I can't find a discussion about it.

I've always wondered, is there a way to visually preview the partials and whole pages? I'm used to modern niceties such as hot reload with Tailwind that I'd like to have with HTMX, which I'm looking for excuses to try.

Makes one ponder how there really is no moat. If this rolls out as implied, it is immediately easy to switch providers, and I will.

That Motorola phone that lets you install Graphene can not come soon enough. Pixel phones are not sold worldwide so it feels like they're gatekeeping security. I know that's not the case really, but there's very few ways to s

Another LLM tell is that they penalize repetition so they'll use as many synonyms as possible. You may end up recognizing the same concept being rehashed with synonyms constantly. You can look up examples of thie as "elegant varia

The page itself seems vibecoded and a bit of an advertisement, but it does look like the vulnerability is real and high risk. It does explain the big security update I just got, guess I'll prioritize updating today.

Not much, as it only works on very few high end phones not sold in most countries. Hopefully their Motorola partnership will expand its availability but I'm not confident that'll happen anytime soon.

That was my immediate impression too! It feels like it's all AI maximalists who seem to have a need to filter their every interaction through an LLM. And the result looks and reads just like Moltbook.

If I end up using ChatGPT for any reason, I always preface with something like "2 sentences maximum. No emojis. Be professional." at the very least. It tends to improve things a bit.

Wait what? Really? All caps is a bannable offense? That should be in all caps, pardon me, in the terms of use if that's the case. Even more so since there's no support at the highest price point.
