The cheap ones don't have ECC, the PX-Line & Dell servers have it. The're pretty cheap when compared to some other server providers, though.

Several people have made use of a lightweight webserver like Lighttpd in combination with PHP/SQLite in order to set up boards or wordpress installations on Raspberry Pis. Would that be something for you?

You are right. From my POV their problem is that you cannot use them for international projects (non US customers cannot use ACH; non us businesses cannot get their money out of Dwolla)

340 rupees are about $6, that sounds reasonable to me. Where in the world do you live? Btw, normal Margherita in Germany (Pizza Hut) 4,9 € / $7.64, large Margherita in Germany (Pizza Hut) 7,9 € / $10.71
