This is also what I observe. Those small scale companies might also work on very specific problems. However, at least for the internet brands I think it is true, that no large platform or service is actually coming from Europe.

Android tends to be more flexible with a few things. At least I see a lot of users using custom fonts and crazy widgets, that would never work out with the iOS sandbox concept. iOS users that i know often have an iPhone because it just work

And it's even synchronous. Funny to read their router specs though. 800Mbit wireless and 4 LAN ports with 1Gbit each. How would you even use that? I would be so glad to even have fibre and not that crappy DOCSIS shared medium crap.
