Evochess is a game where the pieces evolve. You start with pawns and a king, nothing else. To be short, pawns can become bishops or knights. Bishops and knights can later become rooks. First time when I wrote here, I have checked statistics

I see a lot of people are losing, even on Easy (in fact, everyone). Thank you folks for giving a try. I appreciate even the silent feedback. I will release a new version with a more enjoyable opponent, especially for beginners, soon.

GUIs are hard. I wonder how much time did you invest in the graphical user interface. And especially as compared to the rest of the project.

Thanks for the encouraging comment. Indeed, we might consider strategies how to make the AI opponent more enjoyable to play with. By the way, did you try to switch between different opponents? How did it feel?
