I use both mac and windows and when i need to use command line utilities i use MobaXTerm give it a try is a really nice terminal for windows and also allows you to install other unix utilities .

I have a raspberry pi zero w that I use with PivPN and Pihole and also I compiled tor on it. I can vpn into my home network , use tor as my socks 5 proxy and I also use pinhole to deal with tracking and advertising. best 5 dollars I'
