Fair enough. I had a conversation with one utility that was fine with transformers popping (even if preventable) because a popped transformer becomes a capitalizable expense.

British Airways frequently has flight in the air at the same time with the same flight number. For ATC these are typically identified with a letter at the end of the flight number like BA 123E or BA 345Y.

Overall it feels like a punitive measure against Lufthansa, rather than spending the time to get them an ILS clearance. For reference the flight is usually a 6:45p arrival but was very late on the evening in question.

I was looking for a whole home heat pump and got some quotes that started at $27,000 for a home that is 1800 square feet. That price is a bit hard to swallow. I really don't want to just cool one or two rooms in the house.

I would assume that situational awareness for those inside the plane would have actually been pretty poor. They were climbing through clouds when the dive began so seeing the orientation of the plane to the earth would have been very spotty
