What would that look like? Genuinely not sure what you're suggesting. Do you mean a PS4 purchase means you have it for life and they must support it (or at least not revoke it)? Or you also get it on PS3/4/5 (as applicable)?

What do you stream it to? I tried the Google Streamer 4K and it was terrible. I couldn't work out if it was latency on the Streaming side or PS4 Controller via Bluetooth latency (or both). It took forever to set up and frankly it just

Their flagship devices used to be split into two lines - Epix (AMOLED) or Fenix (MIP). The latest Fenixs (8 series) are AMOLED like the Epix, so you can't get MIP anymore in those lines. I can't speak to their other lines, frankly

Is this like a modern GetRight? GetRight is possibly the piece of software that planted the seed of fascination with computers and software in my head at a young age. It blew my mind that someone had made an app that could fix Internet Expl

Posted elsewhere, they have tightened regulations to clamp down on the "franken-shoes". 40mm stack height maximum One carbon plate only (some shoes were including a second). Must be on sale to the public for < 4 mths before the

If anyone's interested, the shoe being purchasable by the general public is a condition of them being deemed legal for pros, after a crackdown on Supershoes a few years ago. The other conditions as I recall are there is only allowed to

It looks like not (you'd assume they'd have called it out if it was). I really don't understand the utility of a touchscreen without a 360 degree hinge.

I migrated from Notion to Obsidian, mainly because of speed, and to a lesser extent I like the philosophy. Having simultaneously embraced AI a lot more, it's been incredible having AI very easily access and work with my notes for me (n

Actual Budget is incredible. Happy (now free since it's gone FOSS, formerly paying) customer since migrating from YNAB4 ~ 3/4/5 (?) years ago.

How does that prove that you only voted once? If I know someone's name and address (and by extension their electorate) I can rock up and vote as as many as I want.

Building coal plants doesn't impact emissions (materially, anyway). It's the using them to burn coal part that causes emissions (and generates electricity).

What era and which distro? I have one from ~ 2011... would be cool to do something with it.

I remember the first time I experienced this was an iOS app called Task Eater. It was simple To-dos. Attractive, snappy, everything you could need. The dev released a "final update" where he basically declared it was done. This wa

It's uninformed mimicry. Someone very close to me (I won't name names!) bought one and did it the other day for their business and I was absolutely shocked when I saw their draft video. I asked them what they thought the clip was

Yep and funnily enough it's less subtle/aesthetic than before. The letters appear as big yellow stickers over each UI button, making them very easy to find & learn.

Nah I appreciate that. And you're probably right. Only reason I hadn't looked into it was: a) I didn't know if it could simulate the "Alt Codes" i.e. Alt + 3 separate keys in quick succession. b) There's 50-100

Yeah, I do/did doubt this would port over the Alt Codes, though as you say I'm not sure someone couldn't just long-hand re-write the Alt Codes in either a mod/add-on/config file for any given Office competitor suite

Not directly related to the topic, I spose, but I have a Model 3, and absolutely love it, but the Smart Cruise Control/Driver Assist is, I hate to admit it, pretty annoying (I think it's gotten worse, too). It's incredibly &q

I don't disagree with your broad comment but it's not hard to fix by slightly dispersing the control/responsibility. 1. Electricity moves for 5/10 min clearing intervals with defined caps at either end (currently in West

No it's not. The efficiency of an EV Motor > efficiency of ICEV motor. Even with 100% black coal. The carbon is reduced by about 30% IIRC (that number can and does improve as the grid greens).

It's annoying they don't allow migrating in a data dump from Spotify (they do, but everything is tagged as listened to on the day of import...). My Spotify account is 10 years old but I only discovered Last.fm ~ 6 months ago.

I cancelled Netflix for this exact reason. 4K Netflix looks worse than 720 YouTube, yet I pay(paid) for Netflix 4K, and at roughly 2x what I paid for Netflix when it launched. It's genuinely a disgrace how they can even claim with a st
