WebRTC is the way to the future of open source remote desktops. I don't know exactly by I have a strong feeling that google is using WebRTC for chrome remote desktop

Hi. It's open source so expectations can be lower than for commercial projects. It's made on pure enthusiasm. And we are figuring out a way of how to hack the OSes to get rid from dummy display plugs. (just look at repo README.md)

Hi its not normal, coz other users don't have these kinds of things happening. It may be a firewall on your desktop, wifi or even your phone. Also you need to have an access to private networks if you are on Windows. Cheers

It usually requires you to have an access to internet due to how WebRTC works signals should be exchanged on internet somewhere. Deskreen solves this problem by running local signaling server, so you don't need access to internet
