   It was always better to find job via recommendations. Both for companies and candidates. Old leetcode style interviews were no better at identifying good candidates for given job.

   I didn’t care much about data collected but I found that with every update it becomes worse and worse objectively. I had to cut it from in internet so doesn’t get completely unusable

    SBMM also a double-edged sword. Some people like to play game relaxed. Random matchmaking gives them chance to win. But SBMM means having sweaty games all the time. I do prefer SBMM but I’ve seen people upset about it

    Thos whole debate is happening because people think a degree matters. Because getting a piece of paper is more important than knowledge. Students will continue to cheat (AI or not) as long as the goal is to get a stamp.

    Pi is awesome. I built whole agentic ide on top of pi and obsidian. The fact that I can modify it easily makes a difference

    At one point I realized I don’t need plex or jellyfin. All I need is network samba and infuse. It’s supported on all apple devices and works well.

    When comes to lower part it’s always bipedal (hard to balance) or wheels (low capabilities). Why no one makes 4-6 legs, insect like? That seems like an easier problem to solve while gives much better mobility.

    Does it yield good results? I found that instead of docs it’s easier just to ask ai to read code. I feel like this is same as comments in code. Become outdated fast

    I just consider this temp phase because models are dumb and harnesses are not yet there. When I need code review I should just say “review it”. Model should figure out what plugins, skills, etc. to use.
