I believe some people generally avoid Svelte for custom elements since Rich (and other maintainers) have consistently shown criticism towards Web Components in general.

Learned the art of fermentation and started to make my own fermented hot sauces. Currently enjoying a two week fermented Carolina Reaper hot sauce!

It seems to be based on lit-html, so anything that's interpolated gets automatically sanitised unless you're using a directive[1] or interpolate other templates created using the "html" function. [1]: https://

I believe you can also use the Lit based UI while logged in by using sh.reddit.com!

The way they're using iframes to allow to have a persistent audio player without needing JavaScript is really creative. I'm having a lot of fun digging through its source code

I disagree with you. I find that comparing the behavior of Craig Dean to that of her past abusive relationship helped a lot on getting the point across (at least to me). After all, a job is basically a long term relationship.

Last year I've dabbled mostly with high level languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python... a bit of Clojure. I guess it would be time to pick something like Rust or Go. But I still haven't decided which one to pick up first.
