Also curious how people like Epstein and James Alefantis are just casually using Gmail and Instagram to post CSAM and suggestive torturing of kids. Seems like the onus should be on the companies, not the users..

I get what you're saying but the onus is (and should) definitely be on the company to inform customers - and there's many laws to that effect.

Doesn't mean artists should make it easy for these AI companies to steal artist IP. It doesn't take long to do and seems effective enough from what I've seen. BTW This is how cybersecurity works (cat and mouse etc)

It's also a great way to train megacorp AI models without compensation.

Stable Diffusion (Web UI or whatever) has add-ons (e.g. rembg) that are really good at this last time I checked

Same with Xbox One/Series controllers. Never had issues with Original Xbox controllers (maybe after 2 years) but I've had ~5 Xbox One controllers with stick drift and other issues within a year (first-party and third-party).

SOMA's one of my favorites - went into it blind and first played it this year thanks to it being added to Xbox Game Pass. High on Life is good too comedy/style-wise.

Imitate, not duplicate. Hours of work/talent vs. stealing an artist's work (see: unlicensed) and feeding it into a software program to spit out a slightly different version (complete with watermarks and all)...

Does Google.com allow anybody to instantly mimic an artist's style? Obviously AI laws haven't been put in place yet - it doesn't mean it's not unethical.

Terribly unethical using unlicensed images. They could/could've crowdsourced image gathering and labeling instead of stealing images.

Is this trained on unlicensed 3D meshes (like Stable Diffusion is trained on unlicensed images)?
