Just in the past three months bitcoin has gone from $1500 to $3000 to $2500 to $1800 to $2900 to $2500 to $3400. You'd make more with a lot less risk just waiting for a dip and buying.

I didn't flag this, but there is an argument for doing so: People commit suicide everyday. Many because of job stress. That this person worked at Uber doesn't make it newsworthy.

Just a few flags from high karma accounts can knock a submission off the front page if it isn't getting enough counter up-votes. It wont be marked as flagged.

Agility trumps code quality. Stability can be addressed downstream (which Facebook does with heavy testing and rollouts of changes). Code quality problems or not, Facebook has been more stable than its competitors (MySpace, Twitter, etc.)

Live sports rights are expensive. ESPN has been feeling the pain of having to pay the high prices while losing subscribers. Twitter wouldn't do any better with their ad-based monetization.

These AI pieces remind me of the FUD surrounding genetic engineering in the 80s and 90s. Which is ironic because with the advent of CRISPR and related discoveries genetic engineering might actually be the threat to worry about now. Edit: ty
