they do. You do lose 2FA with shattered screen. Android phone can be used without google account (I do it). You cant even use Apple iPhone without.

Often people get emotional and try to baby sit (new and users that don't want to learn basics). Having a disjoint but strict, timely, disinterested connection with support forums is great. One of the great examples is coreboot or MrChr

Once you do illegal then that is a different issue. Even if your company does such stuff... the number of cameras per street is far fewer then one sees in the UK or USA.

All over Europe is generalisation. At least in France, Germany, Switzerland it is too much pain and paperwork to get any camera installed. If you are worried about chinese then seriously you cannot live.
