What you describe is a little bit working for free. If you’re not being paid for those hours and you do not have a stake in the business, then you are effectively giving money to the owner.

I've had my Samsung TV for 3-4 years, it works just as well as well today as the first day that I bought it. I've never connected it to the internet and get streaming capabilities using 3rd party devices. Dumb TVs are much better
