I didn't find a solution to read in a .png-file and iterate over the rows and in every row over the columns, is the low level stuff somehow hidden? Found some higher level stuff libraries here and there, but if it's not easy to do

I agree, UI and usability design look amateurish to me. It is time for me to look for a better alternative, their speed of improvement in above mentioned areas is just one big disappointment.

It has LOOP and EXIT, I remember that turned out to be the most used repetition construct when I was using (IIRC) JPI Modula-2. For me, it was so easy to think about loops that way, with an EXIT/condition in the middle of the loop body
