Why did you go beyond a BA in CS if you’re going to not work in academia? Sounds like a PhD didn’t help much?

The head dev consistently gets upset and threatens people via mastodon rants. Just because the team has attempted to quiet their bad PR doesn’t mean it hasn’t and doesn’t happen. Your example is not as unhinged as what I’m referring to.

Apologies, I didn’t catch this reply. I believe this video discusses some of these, I’ll have to scroll through Mastodon to find more. https://youtu.be/4To-F6W1NT0 Edit examples: I’m referring to Daniel Micay using the offi

Really like how Django writes his response. Well written and very polite. Feels like I only see that sort of genuine writing from penpals

I unironically think ai slop has made me appreciate human trash more. I received plenty of bad essays prior to ai but at least there was some thought behind the undergrads first attempts at writing

Interesting take. I’ve never seen someone be for this but I can agree that not being anonymous would force some people to potentially act better, but then there’s Facebook.

This authors reaction appears big but there is truth to it. Your comment is truly delusional. Online is the world? Come on.

No one who understands ai can rely on it to help us learn. I provided one with 100 citations I wanted to standardize and it deleted 10 and made up 10 to replace them. Can’t imagine this being used to replace a textbook or even explain a tex

Living in Japan made me get down to my all time lowest weight, returning to America made me shoot up past where I started… healthy lifestyle, lots of walking over driving, and healthy eating options is all it is!
