Flow control using js is very simple. For the example you linked it should have used smaller components. Jsx is all about components. I cannot go back to string literals.

There might not be many online local languages business sites but when you have to do purchase offline it done through local languages. Some of them don't have written written script yet spoken daily by millions.

Flipkart has far better ui. I can filter down my choices. Was never impressed with amazons search. Flipkart has good service as well. But i prefer amazon after the whole mobile only thing.

TV ad might not run arbitrary code. But its very annoying as well. Hence lots of pirating.

The ultimate goal is that people in the industry say "we've heard of you." - I have purchased items based on just that. If there are multiple options then its easier to choose the one you have heard before be it from a ad.

Got the same issue initially. The guide does not document the additional packages that needs to be installed. You need to install elm-lang/html package.

Driving in India is kind of insane. You need some skill to navigate the roads without hitting anyone. Need to watch all around. But in cities traffic moves very slowly so you can manage it.

React is just for view layer. Its not much complex. Its simple enough to add to normal pages let alone SPA.

You don't need all of them to create a modern js app. I use just browserify and watchify with node scripts under package.json. Simple to copy and modify for new projects.

I have not stopped using rails. Its mature and works well. But i love elixir and i think phoenix is the future rails.

There is nothing stopping from creating a single page app in rails. I have a SPA running on rails 3 using backbonejs. Some parts of which now use reactjs.
