Steven K. Roberts is amazing. He was very influential on my ideas around technology when I was about 12. Super awesome guy. Never afraid of living on the bleeding edge

Setup a monthly $5 donation. It's not much, but I know how valuable the archive is... they're doing the work the library of congress SHOULD be doing.

Maybe it's that facebook encourages the content from your friends that is toxic, because that toxic content leads to more clicks, engagement, and ultimately revenue.

Is Facebook notifying the affected people that they had viewed fabricated news, or just releasing press releases?

Facebook: Hey everyone! No more cryptocurrency ads. Google: We're banning them too. Big Pharma: But not us right? Google: No, we appreciate your business... Facebook: How much are you looking to spend??

Love it, one recommendation though - make sure it's easy to share. When I tried to share on FB it didn't show an image, which I really wanted it to. - https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing&#

It turns out the hacker stole a dealer's ID which meant the OTP sent to my phone was never needed / used. The dealer id overrides the need for a password.

Unfortunately I don't guard my name + number like I do my passwords. Who knows how they found it, in a post equihax world I'm not sure anyone can consider this private.

I was targeted this evening by a hacker who ported my phone number, and then got into FB + Yahoo (SMS reset). The motive appears to be bitcoin, based on the people contacted via facebook. Is it possible the initial PIN that was sent by Tmob

It's not a physical key, and touch bar sometimes crashes, which makes it difficult to back out of many UX flows (think full screen video).

It would only be nice if they had not removed a physical escape key. It's a downgrade in my opinion. Sometimes it just turns off for no reason.

If you ask Siri to disable, it gives you a weird "I'm sorry I can't do that" reply. Unlike a real person, there's no verbal abuse that will make her go away.

Yeah, keep the dynamic stuff on your webserver, static stuff on the CDN. Part of the reason I say "as much as possible" is because I've seen significant conversion improvements by enabling a CDN.

Typically the CDN is used for all static assets does not include the HTML. In the event that your CDN is not working, you can always fallback on your own static.example.server. CDNs are one of those cases where the cloud vastly outperforms

You don't have to rate the driver anymore I believe. Even if you put the step of tipping after getting out of the cab, it's a step. Having a preset option is a good way to take out the friction, but instead you could just not incl

It adds friction to the process for getting from A to B. Cabs 1. Find a cab 2. Hail the cab 3. Get in cab 4. Decide what to tip the cab 5. Pay the cab driver 6. Get out of cab vs Uber (without tipping) 1. Hail the uber from phone 2. Get

One of my favorite things about Uber was not having to deal with tipping. Pay them a fair wage with fair prices.

I am purely naive of this project and not of another project with a similar name. I thought ReactOS was newer than ReactJS due to the version number. The analysis was entertaining, but over-speculative.
