I purge my box every few years. Do you really need 20 usb cables. I do save the esoteric ones though.

Triple fold just seems awkward as heck, plus you have to design the UI for it around the fold section. I’m pretty bullish on the duo design. Hopefully we see some more unique designs in the future if this works out.

What's up with all the negativity? Apple is finally doing something radical (for them) again with the iPhone, their bread and butter. And I'm all here for it. 10 years of the same form factor was getting old. I'm gonna buy th

Reminds me a lot of big tech campus interior decoration. A lot of greys, neutral colors, very little color or personality. Pretty much what you'd expect from techies that never really thought too hard about their living space beyond fu

Well I guess it’s time to move my repos and stop paying. The moralism here is ridiculous. My code is my own, sorry.

I can believe it. They are used for general anxiety disorder which I imagine can be kind of similar - an over-reaction to some stimuli.

Eh I feel like search results have been pretty bad for years. SEO and fake page link farms ruined it. ChatGPT is trained on all of Reddit and internet forums where most of the useful info is. It just automates the drudgery.

Yeah I pretty much soley used assistant.kagi.com the last couple months. Traditional search days are really numbered. I'm finding though ChatGPT with sol 5.6 is as good or better, so I'm using that primarily these days. Can also d

Just use Sol 5.6. There's no reason to endure Anthropic models anymore.

Yeah OAI really nailed the communication style with GPT. It also seems just way more token efficient and faster compared to cc. Myself and all my friends have cancelled our $200 Anthropic subs. I'm using a $20 personal plan and even th

tintinweb/pi-subagents. Then I use superpowers and it spins up subagents automatically. Works really well and you can customise the models and efforts you want to use with local AGENTS.md. I’m primarily using gpt-5.6 and then opus for

Not hard to understand. People will pay for a better UX. Which Plex has, once you disable all the streaming junk. Also there’s simply more clients for it. The only way to play Bluray Dolby Vision layers correctly is with an AM6B+ which has

Well I don't know the details from Apple's side, and this was 20 years ago. That was just the discussion on the ground. I personally experienced a senior Mot employee grilling me about some IP I had developed, then go to Apple the

The irony to me is Apple did the exact same thing to Motorola back in the day, which I saw firsthand as a Mot eng. Poached employees and IP. I doubt the iPhone would have happened otherwise. Jobs was absolutely ruthless and would do anythin

As an old timer, I saw this firsthand happen with Motorola. Apple did the same shenanigans, stealing IP and engineers. I doubt the iPhone would have happened otherwise. Jobs was absolutely ruthless and would do anything for his goals.

The harness is so much better than cc which is a buggy mess. Gpt is also way faster than Claude. I’ve been using gpt for a while now and I know a lot of people that swapped away from Anthropic for multiple reasons. However - fable still see

This sucks to hear. I honestly think the rise of LLMs will be the death of open source in the long run. Already, apparently, quality of OSS has dropped significantly since 2025 (so most models stop training on github after this). I don'

Can golang do zero copy networking nowadays? In the past golang was terrible at this kind of thing due to allocations and copies of all relayed data.
