Given that the crimes in SF have spiked during Covid, a flat police budget is de facto defunding [7]. To keep up with the crimes, police budget should increase proportionally as well. Otherwise, crimes will not be controlled. [7] https:&#x

London Breed is a bad mayor for SF. She defunded the police by $120 million during the movement [1] while she spent $12.4 million on her own personal security detail [2]. And now she pledges more police. It's a slap on her own face. Sh

This time is quite different. When AMD beat Intel technologically, Intel still had the lead in process technology while AMD had better chip designs. Now, time has changed. TSMC leads Intel in process technology while AMD contracts TSMC to m

One thing that stands out is that Alibaba has 18 founders. It is almost unheard of in the west. Jack Ma is a true legend. He has a humble background and failed college entrance exam three times before being accepted into an ordinary school

Agreed. AMD is the real threat. Lisa Su has done everything right in turning around AMD. AMD was on the verge of bankruptcy. Lisa Su took it over and now AMD is come back to life.

Thanks for clarifying. This kind of clickbait headline should be punished somehow on HN. It distorts the facts and causes confusion and distractions.

My experience with Prime Wardrobe has been negative. I ordered three shirts to try out more than a week ago. I still have not received them. With Prime, you can receive your orders in 2 to 3 days and return them if you don't like them.

Bitcoin is no more speculation than gold. Gold has its price. It is rarely used (I have not seen anyone exchanging value using gold). It cannot be eaten, drunk, lived in, or used as a tool (I guess you can use it as a weapon like a brick).
