No, I do. Me voting for someone who votes for someone who writes a law is not democratic. I’m far too removed from the process. Maybe it’s you who doesn’t know what democracy is; consider that.

It’s anti-tech rhetoric so it works well here in HN. That’s the entire purpose of it. Not to say ads on fridges aren’t stupid. But they are stupid enough by themselves; they don’t have to make up stories about them.
