Just earlier Opus 5 was supposed to migrate a Python codebase from kafka-python client-per-send to a client singleton. It decided it should add a partition key "that nobody asked for" which it admitted to at the end of the impleme

Probably need a lawyer to weigh in but "originate from and be understood by a contributor" sounds like "write a prompt". The machine isn't sentient and doesn't just decide to generate code one day. Maybe that&#

Providers can compete on cost which is a small but positive outcome. It also encourages providers to find more efficient ways to serve models which also lowers cost. That said, these frontier models are still astronomically huge.

State sponsored maybe but it looks to take at least 6Ti of VRAM to run which is quite costly...

Seems fine to me. Maintainer wants to use AI and community bans many AI uses so maintainer leaves. As AI bans go, this one doesn't seem too stringent if you disclose AI and actually check what it's doing.

Seems like the most practical path is some kind of distributed peer to peer contraption where you can allocate some storage and optionally participate in crawling. I imagine if set some constraints you could get index size down quite a bit

SearXNG has been working pretty well for me. I had an agent write the MCP then do a couple passes comparing to server side LLM web tools and exa and tweaking and it works pretty well. I also added scrapling for fetch which covers pretty muc

Most of the stuff should be bypassable with browser automation but you'd need more compute to run a full browser versus a basic uri fetch. I imagine it'd take quite a bit of shape for the index and be hard to keep it up to date un

Hmm that's actually pretty clever. They can serve each result page slightly different encrypted links and it should be obvious right away if it's a SERP bot (trying to grab a page of links) or a human that just picks a few here or

He tried to extort them. Hosting providers have been selling Wordpress hosting for years without "giving back" Does Wordpress "give back" to PHP and Linux?

Eh, they probably have enough server hardware/infrastructure and potentially custom accelerators and other hardware that staffing a team makes sense Quick web search says they at least need some kernel developers for virtualized Linux

Anything similar for Android (or anyone want to burn some tokens cloning)? I see the readme mentions it's inspired by Loop. Ideally something that also allows tracking not-necessarily-habit daily things (drank coffee at time y)

Azure database??? In house bot protection??? In house search??? Some of these are absolutely wild. Surprised Strands didn't even get mentioned for agent frameworks.

Claude.ai, set to Opus xhigh, attach file, "Try to decode the file format of this save game from Name of Game. Do research if necessary" If the file's too big, you'll probably need to download a harness/local app. I

It would be interesting to try to control for system prompt although obviously there's some coupling to what the harness provides and the instructions the model receives on using it

Afaik the reverse is also true. Some models are trained for specific harness setups so work better/more efficiently in that harness. If you give a model trained on a Read/Write/Bash tool setup a harness with only Bash where i

That part is a little bit confusing. I think they probably don't care about storage on the devices that do the compressing and are optimizing for quickly pushing hot content to edge locations. So the compression at the source saves ban
