True ... my company recently started deploying endpoint protection like crowdstrike, beyondtrust, zscalet onto our macs and these have slowed my machine considerably. They somehow spike the CPU just when I am doing something important.

If you know your access patterns really well and they are non-relational, then you can design the best possible tables for dyanmoDB. In such a case DynamoDB works and scales amazingly. Ofc, you cannot do multi table relationships etc shoeho

nah filesystem snapshots may not lead to consistent DB backups. DB backup software usually use a plugin to tell the DB to coalesce data before taking a snapshot.

Exactly, there is a reason why we don't program in natural languages and use "programming languages" which use a subset of keywords to program. Natural language is too ambiguous and not of use in serious programming.
