Exactly this + websites transforming into SPAs, loading lots of JS chunks, displaying spinners and placeholders, 2FAs, login requests, captchas everywhere. Web browsing is now a very frustrating and time-wasting experience!

No, they will just encrypt firmware, add more signature verifications and lock devices to accounts in order to complicate reuse, increase sales and produce more ewaste.

You are using MITM proxy as a service. In addition to analyzing all traffic and blocking legitimate users with captchas, they can inject stuff in there, too.

It's not only about blocking access to porn websites but children can access whatsapp groups where child predators are. Why can children access this content in those communication apps? It sounds like providers of these platforms must

On Linux I am using https://github.com/wrr/drop which configures bubblewrap based on a simple yaml config specific for the project path and it is enough for me. I won't use anything requiring a login.

Or you could have just opened an existing Intel pdf brochure which explains it with more intuitive illustrations (the search took me 2 minutes and it consumed a fraction of energy) https://download.intel.com/newsroom/ki

Thanks. Your result is what I would expect - nice stuff, but far from what he supposedly "casually" generated.

Will this prevent children from using Whatsapp, Messenger, Telegram and similar because this is where "dangerous" content is being shared. How will children communicate and cooperate on school assignments if those are blocked? Wil

Same here. I can't stand the new Reddit. It spins up fans on my $3500 laptop, freezes and loads very slow. Once the old one stops working, I will have to stop using it.

There have been a huge progress in this regard! New OLEDs don't burn out like those early generations.

It's easy but very inconvenient. Drop sandbox [1] or Docker are much more convenient alternatives to user/group isolation for this purpose. [1] https://github.com/wrr/drop

Lightning is VERY important. What I like is cove lightning - led strips near ceiling, reflected from the white ceiling. And it is also good to have multiple lightning sources - dimer and slightly warmer to use towards the end of day (sunset

Yes, it is very comfusing. "Buy" buttons should be replaced by "License" buttons when you are licensing stuff instead of buyimg it. There should be a law for that.

A lot of devs needs to use linux but they still use it just as a VM (Mac) or in some kind emulation (WSL). How pathetic.

Just implement caches, add indices to your DBs, use CDNs. Servers are very fast nowadays, have quite a lot of RAM and can handle huge amount of clients. No need to implement this anti-bot bullshit, it is mainly marketing, providing solution

It is very similar to kernel modules for game anti-cheats. Soon, websites will work on unmodified Windows and Mac computers only, with a signed cloudflare kernel driver installed. :/ They are completrly destroying the web.

Wow, exactly! That would have been so cool! I always hated Johny Eve's designes at Apple and I find Luce awful too (both interior and exterior). I don't understand how could they invite Johny to destroy such an iconic car brand.
