Oculus was pretty fun and a really nice piece of hardware. What was painful was all the meta things on top of it, which I doubt was something he personally added.

I was considering it but got cold feet when I've been told that you could damage it when cleaning it. When I open/close my laptop I leave a ton of finger prints. I'm not too good with delicate hardware stuff.

I do that with my mac. I have two keyboards and have to use Karabiner-elements for them to share modifier keys (like shift). Works well. I did that because I was interested in split keyboards but they are all more expensive than what buying

I understand it that way too. For me it's about how you should react when you get a gift. If a relative offers you something that you don't like, you still appreciate the gesture. Feedback is a gift, but not all gifts are good one

It sounds nice (maybe too nice?). I always wanted to see that it would be necessary to have a "sleeping" phase in AI. It always felt weird that we have to sleep, it doesn't seem to give any evolutionary advantages.

It's confusing. It feels like it's written as a joke to highlight that we shouldn't feel bad to get interviews rejections. But It's missing the punchline.
