I wonder why the Ubuntu and the IBM Plex Sans fonts use a different style "a" for italic vs non-italic. I like the Ubuntu font and have used it in the past.

For some of the reasons you give, I prefer Owncloud over Nextcloud. Owncloud is less bloated. I recently set up Joplin notes to sync with Owncloud using WebDAV following instructions on Owncloud's blog [0], it was easy and works well.

To me it seems like CL never cought on outside of the bigger cities in Canada, but Kijiji became very popular. But I agree, Kijiji is not as clean with the results as CL, and yes, Facebook Market Place is a mess. Varage Sale is a small play

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but to divide a vector in Inkscape, draw a strait line through it, it doesn't matter if the line goes past the edge of the vector, then select both objects (vector and line) and go the the

I have the same setup for the same reason as you. Only difference, I have my setup at home. As you say, in the event of my demise, I want my relatives to be able to grab the drive and have easy access to the pictures and videos.

I did something similar, except I ran it as dvgrab | ffmpeg to transfer and transcode to mp4 at the same time, one step. It worked great.
