If buybacks were banned, would companies be so fragile that they require massive bailouts? If these buyback didn't create extremely overvalued/frothy markets, would the bailouts need to be as big? I think over leveraging is as tox

Good ideas except they should not invest in the stock market, there is no guarantee that we hit the bottom even though many would like to believe so. Better to put that money in gold or other similarly scarce assets.

Makes it a bit more difficult for counterfeiters to debase the currency if you only allow smaller bills... The counterfeiters may be individual or state actors engaging in an economic attack. Bitcoin can't be counterfeited, so it solve

The emergency repo operations were required long before the coronavirus, we have liquidity issues in the US. Economy will start to collapse shortly... Fed can't expand the balance sheet without exacerbating the problems.

Well, they should let that (units sold) number decline on the public disclosures... Reducing investor visibility into a publicly traded company when numbers start turning negative is a huge flaming red flag.
