if you lean more towards web dev...then you most deffeintly dont need school..web programming is dead easy even for a beginner who has never touched programming. application/desktop programming is a little more involved...the main diff

All i know is school dosent come even remotly close to preparing you for programming in the real world im self taught and even if I had todo it over again I would not waste any money trying to learn programming from a school. not to mention

sounds kinda like the reason why most people would rather look-up guides to video games on the internet then buy the strategy guide at thier local wallmart, also advice is kinda like an opinion just because you get some advice doesn't mean

the main flaw in that show is that it assumes that the machine has access to all these devices at any point when the truth is most of those devices are on a closed circuit or not even on the global internet but instead a local intranet the

quit trying to teach kids with pseudo languages and actually teach them something they can use something like python is exactly what you should be teaching kids something they can take with them and build upon languages like Scratch and Ali

the front page feel really busy for me, may just want to remove everything below "you relax" the above the 3 steps are all you really need and make the login/register buttons a bit more visible maybe put it as the first step as you have to

well for cross platform Qt or gtk,although everyone always says stay away from experimental I say use canvas If the user cant use the canvas fall back to jquery. I belive with the technologies we have now old idioms like "dont render gui on
