I've been using migadu for a year-ish, its a nice website. For only 20$ a year I don't think I've ever noticed down time and almost never received spam. I'm looking forward to them deploying 'Alps' their new UI

Its in beta but element groups were added recently for this kind of thing. I dont think it has voice rooms yet but hopefully one day.

Element isnt paid? It has paid hosted options if you want your own synapse server, but the free version has always been there and if you're using discord why care that you dont have your own domain for your matrix community

If its deployable and tested in a docker container its much easier to generate user images, it takes the onus away from the user and the developer can just put it on the aur/publish a deb

Gerrit has gotten a new UI in the last few years as far as i know. I wouldnt nesecarily describe it as pretty, but its my personal favourite review system

I only got the iflash recently, but i think ill try setting it up again and format each sd first. rockbox was a delightful experience, such a cool project.

I sincerely hope they don't, but also i don't think they will. I've never come across music i cant get outside of spotify, i don't see why it would happen with podcasts. I dont listen to a huge number but all the podcast

I would love a media player that supports rockbox and could also take a 1-2tb ssd. i tried with an ipod classic with 4 256gb sd cards but it seemed to corrupt music files sometimes which was a shame

Nyxt seems really cool. I have a vague hope in the back of my mind that itll eventually be an emacs-like editor as well as browser. It seems like it could be a cool lispy answer to things like vscode etc.

the re3 project is quite cool. people have been able to port it to the switch and ps vita, for both GTAIII and Vice City. I think game reverse engineering projects like this are always pretty interesting.

I think the whole project is just so fun. I contributed a couple of patches and the whole community behind it is so warm and welcoming. Its incredibly pleasant and refreshing to interact with.
