Also, Z-wave’s frequency is a bit better at handling things like metal electrical boxes - useful if you live in an older home. Anecdotally, I have Z-wave, Zigbee, and WiFi devices. Z-wave and WiFi are far more reliable than zigbee.

I have Quantum and a UCG fiber. IIRC you only have to turn off vlan tagging on the ONT, and then set DHCP and the vlan tag on the UCG. If you try to keep the vlan tag on ONT you will get horrendous latency. The ISP still shows as CenturyLin

My take is that orbits below 500 km are “cleaned out” and during solar minimum there is less drag going on there. So, it’s a good spot to home your satellites for a while because there isn’t as much junk to maneuver around.
