Simple response. Nope. They don’t. They are employees, and the body camera's falls under employee/employer contract law. They don’t have to be a cop. But if they want to be, they have to follow the rules of their employer.

I just don’t see why this is needed. Almost everything on Linux has a homebrew version available. Perhaps it could be helpful for pure development needs. I guess.

I'll give you my personal experience. I miss using my Mac day-to-day since I started using Linux day-to-day at work. I still have a MacBook Pro, but I barely use it any more as I've tried to limit the amount of time on a computer

I’m not sure what your talking about alt-` switches between app windows. The windows switcher is dreadful, it clumps all your windows in sorted and you can’t easily swap back and forth between two apps. On macOS, command tabbing nicely flip
