I met a guy who bragged about spending 10k euros a month on tokens out of pocket. He was unable to describe anything he built that had made the expense worth it except for the bragging rights that he was spending 10k a month on tokens.

While this article is a summary of John Ioannidis’ work, I do find it kind of like Science magazine is complaining that they aren’t making enough of that AI revenue so come on submit your papers here. I doubt that was the intended message.

I pay a progressive 47% in Norway. I am sick of having half my salary taken over ~600kkr (60k usd). It’s ridiculous. Plus 25% VAT on everything. And it’s not like salaries are through the roof. Why bother paying me a salary at all at this p
