Yes, this would be tons more philanthropic and if it were just readable. Just some simple line breaks and variable names that meant something. It's not impressive that you can just cram stuff into 99 lines.

Well, its only got 128MB ram and flash storage...so there is no virtual memory I suspect. I'm sure the OS takes a big chunk of memory, with the possibility of background tasks eating up more. With a garbage collected system, I'm sure you'

Why are you pushing files with rsync with a working copy? That is what "export" is for. There is no special security in the .svn folder, because you are not supposed to publish it to the website.

I hate the whole argument of the "problem" of hanging/dangling pointers as reason for GC. Is GC only for covering up your n00b mistakes? GC will never be a reasonable management scheme for realtime or limited memory systems, where program

What problem are they trying to solve? A non-Applfied itunes-like app, that doesn't force you to install quicktime and iPodService.exe and other crapware. What market are they after? Well, I might consider buying an iPod now that it isn't
