It sounds reasonable to have the opportunity to buy hardware without software you do not intend to use. Though, I do assume that from the POV of the company selling the software, it would be ideal for the customer to not have a choice. I gu

Having a solid on-prem rack product to me is a great thing. I like IaaS services a lot, don't get me wrong, and I think they're the right pick for a bunch of cases, but on-prem servers also have their "place in the sun",

I'm glad this is out, i'm going to deploy this locally and learn as much about it as possible. Oxide is pretty much the company I dream to work at, both for the tech stack, plus the people working there. Thank you Oxide team!
