Unfortunately no tab support yet in the quick terminal, and it does not work on top of fullscreen applications. Would be great if these things would work at some point. Currently I am using Wezterm and iTerm2 for the quake style terminal,

I did not try it, but at first glance it does not seem to be especially low effort to me. It’s a niche thing and if it’s well implemented the price seems reasonable to me.
