Electron is no-platform. It is an insult to the user, and a lack of skill and effort for the developer. I'm currently using QT for Win and Linux, and Apple -tech for Apple.

Totally agree—ranking is both art and science. Beyond what I listed, I'm also penalizing nested types, boosting based on query patterns ("X protocol" → boost protocols), and inferring kind from URL depth when metadata is miss

They are not stuck, they are just being smart. All multi-platform tools are of lower fidelity and disjointed tooling, making it a horrible experience for a developer and a much lesser one for the user. When was the last time you saw a desig

Developers that exclusively use MS stack are very similar to those exclusive to Delphi. MS and Delphi stacks are very specific in nature and very different from everything else out there. Developers stepping out of those feel very uncomfort
