Do you mean windows updates? We use MECM so we can test windows updates effectively. This way Windows won't auto-update while your testing other things.

We have some bots that use residential IP blocks (including TMobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc)... When they hit, it's 1 request per IP, but they use 1000 IPs easily. Then we don't see that IP again for a week or more.

i still use reiserfs - i can store more tiny files than the others. I was disappointed when testing Btrfs as it used more space and became corrupted easier, even when using compression.

i use it personally, but found reiserfs works better for me on spinning disks - both space and speed. ( lots of small files ) - btrfs, even with compression uses more space for normal workloads, ext4 is fine for me

The big companies have these issues too. MS started allowing lots a SPAM in a few months ago. Took a couple of weeks for them to fix it. Self-Host or Email as a Service both have their intermittent issues.
