Pros: Deepens your knowledge of CS and can be used to focus on a more specialized field e.g. machine learning Cons: Time and money investment. May be unnecessary if you just want a standard dev job.

Look into Georgia Tech's OMSCS. Great program that costs little and and can be taken while working.

Was offered a position as a technology summer analyst at Goldman Sachs next year. Maybe not too impressive for some people here, but it was my first big offer and I felt proud of it.

Education really seems like more and more of an arms race. Makes me kind of apprehensive to have children if I end up getting sucked into this kind of system.

I sometimes feel like I have an inferiority complex for not attending a prestigious school. Hopefully it'll come down to my actual skills and not just the name on my degree when it's time to find a full time job.

I've been suicidal on and off at various points in my life. Luckily I never got involved with these kinds of communities online, as I thought they might exacerbate the issue.

I can confirm that tutoring boosts scores significantly. I went to an SAT prep program that was designed specifically to help you beat the test. My score was 1680 as a freshman and 2390 as a junior.

I've always thought that competitive gaming at the highest levels (League, DOTA, CS:GO, etc.) required a great deal of mental aptitude. Whether that translates to increased skill in other activities, I'm unsure.

General rule seems to be one page unless you have a decade+ of experience.

I'd remove the objective and references sections. Those tend to be unnecessary on modern resumes. You can then move your school and degree information down to the education section. I also prefer bullets for project / job descript
