It depends on the variety, some kiwi skins are tick and hairy, while others exteriors are thin and smooth.

Totally agree. But I'm still wondering why was Escape Velocity so fun yet NMS is a nothing burger? They are very similar, except EV was goofier.

It's more like Anthropic present themselves in a deceptive way. I was confused at first too until someone on HN clued me in! Humans naturally want SOMEONE to be the good guy! Sad story, in this instance.

Qwen 3.8 27B is around Opus 4.8 level of capability on the Agentic Intelligence Index (52 vs 57). In my testing the locally hosted Qwen is good enough that looking at a given piece of work output I couldn't tell you which model was be

I checked some obscure buildings and I found every one of them in-game, but you're correct that it's not 1:1 topographically.

That was actually Watchdogs 2. Great game, basically GTA but you are a hacker in the Bay Area. The SF portion of the map was accurate down to every building. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watch_Dogs_2 https:/&#

Yes, though it's non-idiomatic and in my experience, rare to encounter in the wild for anything you'd actually want to use.

The article mentions Q4, Q5, Q8, and NVFP4. It's total AI slop though, tough read. In my testing I got 150 tokens/sec with a single 5090 RTX.

If corgi distances the company from this, is it a net positive from a PR perspective? I’d never heard of or thought a second about Corgi until now.

You may be able to run a quantized version. One strategy I've found effective is to set Claude or Codex loose on the problem and they'll do a decent job setting up the best possible model revision.

I still miss Battlefield 2. There is really nothing like it today, not even close. The dynamics with squads and a commander and A+ physics and overall game balance remain unmatched for all FPS games. Fortnite, PUBG, COD, all are disgracef

It’s crazy how computers still seem to get perceivably slow every few years, given how many instructions can be executed in 1ms. Shameful, even.. What’s that law called about programmers wasting all the compute on abstraction?

What would tokens/sec performance look like for a reasoning model? An order of magnitude slower?

That is an amazing story. I grew up with a weak performa 560 and was constantly browsing the aisles at Fry’s Electronics looking for games. None of them supported Mac, especially 25MHz 68k!

Does anyone know why git broke the long standing convention of "--" early on? Kind of a nightmare for humans to use. Remembering app-specific one-offs is kind of the worst!
